Transaction information: deposits (including field-agent collections), money received into your virtual account, transfers you send, bill payments (VTU), savings activity, and loan applications and repayments.

Automatic information: device, browser, IP address, pages visited, and cookies or similar technologies.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your account and virtual account number;
• Process daily savings deposits and field-agent collections;
• Operate your wallet, including receiving funds, processing transfers and bill payments you authorise, and confirming them with your transaction PIN and OTP;
• Assess, process, and manage loan applications and repayments;
• Verify your identity (KYC) and prevent fraud and money laundering (AML);
• Communicate with you and provide customer support;
• Improve our services and meet regulatory obligations.

4. Legal Basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests (such as fraud prevention), and compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as necessary with:

• Identity-verification and payment-service providers used to operate our services;
• Regulators and law-enforcement authorities where legally required;
• Credit bureaus, where applicable, in connection with loans;
• Professional advisers under appropriate confidentiality obligations.

6. Field Agents

Where you save through a field agent, the agent records the cash collected and uploads it to your account. Agents are authorised to handle only the information needed to record your savings, and are bound by our policies on confidentiality and data protection.

We use encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication, and access controls to protect your data. Transaction PINs, one-time passwords (OTP), real-time fraud monitoring, and instant alerts provide additional safeguards for your funds. No system is perfectly secure, so please protect your credentials and report concerns promptly.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and thereafter as required to meet legal, regulatory, and accounting obligations. Data no longer required is securely deleted or anonymised.

9. Your Rights
